Jason Wheeler is an accomplished filmmaker and photographer hailing from Omaha, NE. His journey in the world of film began when he realized his passion for capturing people behind the lens while creating a heartfelt video for his grandfather's funeral. This led him to Los Angeles, where he embarked on a successful 15-year career as a Studio Grip, working on notable productions such as New Girl and Downsizing. However, love and the diagnosis of his mother's cancer brought him back to Omaha, where he now resides with his wife and two daughters. In addition to his filmmaking accomplishments, Jason has been recognized as the 2020 Senior Photographer of the Year by the Professional Photographers of Nebraska and holds the esteemed Certified Professional Photographers degree.
